How do I use this website?
Our
website has been designed to be user friendly
and offers plenty of help by clicking
the Blue “Info” buttons on
our order page. On our Home Page or on
the side menu, if you click on the blind
type you require e.g. Vertical Blinds
you will then be taken into the vertical
blinds section. From there you can then
choose a slat size and colour range then
view the fabrics within that colour range.
Clicking on a chosen fabric will take
you into the next page which will inform
you of all the properties belonging to
that fabric. From this point, you can
either order free fabric samples or proceed
to the next page where you can type in
your measurements to obtain a price. All
prices on our web site include VAT.

Can I order over the phone?
Yes,
if you feel you do not wish to process
your order on our website, please call
us on 0151 339 3338. You will receive
an email confirmation of your order.

Are the blinds easy to fit?
Yes,
they are very easy to fit; our comprehensive
guides are in the Measuring and Fitting
Instructions section which is accessible
from the top of our website. You can open,
save and print these instructions.

What's the difference between exact and inside
recess?
When
you place an order for made-to-measure
blinds from Quality-Blinds, you'll be
asked if your measurements are exact or
inside recess. An exact blind will be
made to precisely the measurements you
entered onto the site. An inside recess
measurement is needed for a blind that
you would like to fit within the recess
of your window. Measure the recess from
wall to wall and let us have these measurements.
We'll make all the necessary adjustments
to ensure a perfect fit. This usually
means we'll deduct 10mm from the width
of your blind. With Roller blinds, we
also have to allow for fittings at either
end of the blind as there is no headrail.
This means the actual fabric is approximately
3.3cm less for an inside recess measurement.
You can also order roller blinds at exact
fabric size. For more information, go

What if I am not in for delivery?
The
courier will leave a calling card on the
first occasion. You can contact them directly
to arrange a more suitable delivery day
or, if not contacted, they will try to
redeliver on a further two occasions.

much is delivery?
Delivery
is free of charge to mainland UK addresses
only. Please call us on 0151 339 3338
if you require delivery to Northern/Republic
of Ireland or the Channel Islands before
placing your order.

What if I have measured wrongly?
Unfortunately
as blinds are made to your measurements,
your payment is not refundable. However,
on the rare occasion when a customer has
measured wrongly, please contact Customer
Services if you wish to re-order to discuss
what went wrong and how we can ensure
that your new order is correct and offer
you help and advice.

Do you have a fitting service?
No
- however, from any of the website pages
there is a link to Fitting Instructions
for all blind types - these are printable
and downloadable. Fitting your own blinds
will save you £££’s
on labour charges.

Can you send me a brochure?
We
do not have brochures as these can be
expensive and ultimately the cost would
have to be passed on to the customer in
the price of our blinds. But we offer
FREE vertical, roller and roman fabrics,
aluminium & wooden venetian slats
& woodweave samples.

Can you give me a quote?
Obtaining
a quote is simple; select the product
and colour you would like a price for,
then put in your sizes in the given boxes
and a price, including any discounts,
will be given for that blind and size.
Quality-Blinds never charge for delivery
(within mainland UK).

What if a product is out of stock?
As
soon as we are made aware that there is
no stock for your order we will email
you to advise you with an estimated delivery
date, at which time you can either wait,
select another product or take a refund.
Thankfully, however, the manufacturers
have very few stock shortages.

The louvres of my vertical blinds won't rotate.
Have I done something wrong?
This
sometimes happens if the louvres were
originally hung onto the headrail while
the hooks were in the closed position.
You need to remove the louvres from the
headrail and then turn the chain round
until the hooks are in the open position.
This means that when you re-hang the louvres
they should now rotate without any problems
- you'll be able to see through them and
out of your window.

There
is a rod inside your headrail which has
slipped out of the hole at the control
wand mechanism. This can happen when a
blind has been stored for a period of
time. It is simple to rectify. Remove
the blind, then slide the rod back into
the hole. You may have to turn the wand
so hole and rod line up correctly. Ensure
the rod has passed through the hole by
approximately 10 mm. Re-fit the blind,
job done!
